How heavy is the device?
The device weighs from about 10 to 20 kg maximum, depending on the choice of the batteries included by the user. The calculated average limit for one person is 25 kg.
What type of AC inverter is installed inside the device?
Kapturer’sinverters installed are with pure sine wave of 800 W with a peak of power of 1600 W.
What power and type of batteries must install the user?
Kapturer can has rechargeable batteries AA type of the power chosen by user up a maximum power of 800 Wh. We recommend to use rechargeable batteries AA type of the same brand and same packages of batteries of 100 Wh each.
Any internal or external component installed in the device can be replaced or modified by the user?
Absolutely not. Every internal and/or external component (inverter and other components) must be repaired or replaced by Kapturer staff. The creator and his collaborators decline all responsibility for improper use or tampering by the user.
How long does the battery charged in stand-by?
It depends by type of rechargeable batteries that user decides to install. The staff recommends to leave the batteries connected to the wall socket at 110 V – 220 V AC (60 Hz – 50 Hz) during the period in which Kapturer is not in use. Or you may want to charge it at least every two months.
Is it possible to use Kapturer while it is charging through solar energy?
Yes, Kapturer can supply power while it is being loaded.
Is it possible to carry Kapturer in aircraft?
Yes, it is possible, but without internal or external lithium-ion batteries. The creator and his employees decline all responsibility in case of danger caused by fire or explosions of the batteries.
What is the performance of the integrated photovoltaic panel?
It depends on several factors: from the slant and angulation of the device, from the cleaning of the glass surface of the photovoltaic panel, from the aid of any external photovoltaic panels connected and weather conditions. With a cloudy sky it is possible to obtain an effect of about 40% on performance, but the charge is guaranteed in any case.
The power of the device can power a home completely?
No. The system is designed to connect external devices and utilities up to the maximum of 800 Wh. The creator and his collaborators recommend to always read the label indicating the energy consumption of the device you want to use. For example, Kapturer cannot feed big appliances such as ovens, washing machines, dryers etc.
Is it possible to put Kapturer in water?
Absolutely not. Kapturer is not waterproof and it cannot be in contact with the water. It can only be moved from one point to another with the optional semipermeable cover, in case of rain. The creator and his employees decline all responsibility in case of damages and improper use of Kapturer.
If the semipermeable cover is bought and it is used to cover Kapturer, is it possible to immerse Kapturer with semipermeable cover in water or leave it for a lot of time outdoors and/or under the rain?
Absolutely not. The semipermeable cover is designed only to cover Kapturer for transport and move it from one point to another, in case of rain. And the creator and his employees recommend to never leave Kapturer for long periods outdoors and under the rain with semipermeable cover, too. It declines every eventual responsibility in case of damage to the device for improper use.
When the semipermeable cover covers Kapturer, can it be left open in the sides who exhibited the inputs and outputs?
If Kapturer is in an enclosed and / or dry place, yes, it’s possible. But, when Kapturer is outdoors and there is the presence of moisture, semipermeable cover must be closed properly in each of its side to prevent infiltration of water (example: rain), to avoid accidental damage to the device. If the electrical sockets of Kapturer are used outdoors when it rain, it is necessary be sure to store it in a sheltered place from the water with inserted semipermeable cover and connect the utilities at plugs.
Is it possible use Kapturer for other and different purposes of those designed?
Absolutely not. Kapturer is a device that uses 220 volts AC, too. So it is necessary to be very careful! 220 volts AC is very dangerous and it can cause death, so Kapturer must be used and kept with care, away from the presence of children. Kapturer is not a toy!
When Kapturer is not in use and user do not intends to use it for a long time, what does it necessary do?
It is necessary to store it in a dry place and away from active sources of heat such as ovens, dryers, heaters, stoves, etc. and turn it off completely. When user then decides to use it again, he will need to recharge the battery installed by user.
What is the warranty period?
The warranty is one year, extendable to two years.
